Learning Support at the Primary School
The CBPS Learning Support team (for Grades 4-7) consists of the Learning Support Teacher, Miss Potgieter; two Learner Facilitators, Mrs Graham and Mrs Manan; and the school’s Counsellor, Mr Parreira.
Our focus subjects are both Mathematics and English. With small group learning and the classroom ‘push-in’ technique (one-one-assistance in class through each lesson), we are able to meet our students’ needs.
We also have learner enrichment programmes such as “Reading Eggspress” and “Mathletics” which are fun tools for learning and development that students can enjoy through play.
Helping our students progress makes our jobs extremely rewarding.
