In the third week of the first term, seventy Grade  7s excitedly set off for Rocklands Centre in Simon’s Town – a  2-night camp involving all kinds of amazing team-building and outdoor challenges. This is the first time in about ten years that the Camps Bay Grade 7s have returned to Rocklands.  It is a wonderful campsite with amazing facilities. It boasts neat cottage-like dormitories set amongst the natural fynbos on the slopes of Simon’s Town, a huge swimming pool, trampoline, a large field and a hall with a climbing wall. From team games in the hall, to hatchet-throwing, archery and obstacle courses outside, as well as some fun djembe drumming and crazy group skits, a good time was had by all.
