Applications for Grades R and transfers in 2025 open from 1-16th August.

  1. You must complete a Camps Bay Schools expression of interest form which is in the link below or you can collect from the Prep campus on The Drive. (Grades R-7: Prep Campus Reception)
  2. You must complete an online application on the Western Cape Education Departments (WCED) admissions website.  https://admissions.westerncape.gov.za

Sport

We offer a wide variety of sport from Grade R to Grade 7 including tennis, soccer, netball and swimming. We have made the decision for offer equal opportunity in sport to both genders and our learners are thriving. We have specialist coaches coming in to train the learners during their sport practices. We take part in various different leagues around Cape Town and our senior teams have the opportunity to take part in a sport tour.

Culture

We are proud to be able to have offer all four cultural disciplines to our learners: Music, Drama, Art and Dance. We employ two full time music specialist teachers, an art specialist teacher, we have drama as part of the curriculum and an extra mural and we have dance classes available as an extra. All the learners have the opportunity to take part in stage productions as well as filmed productions throughout their primary school career.

Academics

We offer a top class academic program that aims to equip learners to embrace an ever changing world. In the Foundation Phase our learners are given a good grounding in knowledge that is then built upon in the Intermediate and Senior Phases. We are constantly striving to make use of the latest technology in our teaching and the learners are given access to the computer lab from grade 3.

Support

We offer a wide range of support to our learners. In the Foundation Phase we have support in the forms of on site Speech and Language therapy, Physical OT therapy and academic learning support. Where necessary; gaining access to the right support in the foundation phase is vital. In the Intermediate and Senior Phase we have an academic learning support centre which assists learners individually, as a group and in the classes.
