Nestled between Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, Camps Bay Primary is home to a unique and authentic South African school.
We not only embrace our racial, religious, socio-economic, and cultural diversity, but regard it as a strength. We focus on ensuring that our children have the opportunity to grow, learn and develop in a happy and safe space so that they can grow to be the person they are meant to be, with confidence.
A Rich Learning Environment
The people who make up this special community are drawn from a diverse range of circumstances, which is what makes this such a rich learning environment. Over 30 nationalities are represented, and four fifths of our children live beyond Camps Bay. We constantly challenge our methodology, routines, structure, and product in an effort to improve and deliver a relevant and high-quality learning experience.
Our Vision & MissionThree Campuses, One Combined School
Camps Bay Primary operating campuses provide education from Grade R through Grade 7, combined as one school, albeit on different campuses:
Pre-Prep School
Three Grade R classes located on their own campus across the road from the Preparatory campus, providing a field and outdoor play facilities for a holistic approach to learning and development.
Prep School
Grade 1 and 2 classes based at the Old Stone Building (Prep School) and Grade 3 classes based at the Primary School in Dunkeld Road, establishing the foundational skills of reading, writing, and working with numbers.
Primary School
Based at our Dunkeld Road Campus, offering access to the IT Centre, Science Lab, Technology Workroom, and Library, with an emphasis on independent learning and developing responsibility and initiative.

School Life
We provide opportunities for children to explore and develop their talents, including both healthy competition and high participation in a carefully constructed sports programme, specialized individual music tuition across a range of instrument disciplines, and coding inside our new Innovation Centre.
